New Sun Rising

Thanks to generous support and funding from the Grable Foundation (www.grablefdn.org), the New Sun Rising is providing summer library programming for the children of Millvale and the surrounding areas!  Programming is taking place on the 2nd floor of the Millvale Community Center (416 Lincoln Ave, Millvale, PA) during the months of June, July, and August, and provides fun and positive educational opportunities free of charge.  

There is a lot of work to do in getting ready.  If you're interested in getting involved by volunteering, collecting children's books, dvd, or cds, or by sharing questions and ideas, please get in touch at info@millvalelibrary.org 

We're also in the process of hiring a Children's Librarian.  Job description, and application information is on the attachment below.
