Come celebrate with Pittsburgh Cares on Wednesday, April 29 from 5:30-7:30pm at the WYEP Studios on the South Side. This party will welcome our agency partners, donors, volunteers, supporters and the general public to enjoy food, music and fun as we celebrate the impact of Pittsburgh Cares over the past 17 years. We will be recognizing and announcing the first Pittsburgh Cares Hero Award nominees and 2009 award winner. Also, attendees will be among the first to see the unveiling of the new web-based Pittsburgh Cares television platform which will feature eight distinct channels spotlighting Pittsburgh Cares programs, agency partners, volunteers, and impact areas. Raffles and prizes for the evening include gift certificates to regional attractions and USAirways airfare vouchers. Be sure to spread the word and plan to attend yourself.
