Evenings in Quarantine: The Zombie Opera is an original work by Pittsburgh artists, involving a cast of six people, a projected film that will run throughout the entire show featuring extras and crowd scenes, and a pre-recorded musical accompaniment track of instruments and choral vocals. In this opera, they acknowledge Pittsburgh's role as the 'birthplace of the zombie,' and feature filmed locations from iconic parts of town. They intend to use local talent in production, involve the community in the filming process, and hold Q&A/Talkbacks and seminar events.
