Bring yourself, bring the entire family! Join in the fun with New Sun Rising and Millvale Community Library as we hold Run to Read 2. Our 5K Run and Family Fun Walk to raise awareness about and to benefit the Millvale Library. Participants can run or walk the entire 5K or can choose to participate in the 1 Mile Family Fun Walk! This year's course will begin and end at the library (213 Grant Avenue, Millvale, PA) and will run through the town of Millvale.
There will also be an auction of donated baskets and items that will include something for the young, old and everyone in between. It will be held on the weekend of the always exciting Millvale Days, and immediately following the run and walk we will determine the winners, enjoy complimentary food and beverages (water, pop, juice, beer), and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Millvale Days parade held immediately after the 5K. After the parade, Millvale Days rides, music, food and events will be occuring. Come out and join the fun!
