Grant, loan, and award programs that create social and economic impact

Many nonprofits, small businesses, and collaboratives lack the financial capital necessary to ignite, launch, and grow their impact: especially those who are led by – or serve – disinvested communities. To make funding more accessible, New Sun Rising administers the Vibrancy Funds: an integrated capital program which provides grants, loans, awards, equity, credit enhancement, and technical assistance. Since 2009, NSR has managed and invested over $20 million to help people make progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals. NSR partners with funders on our Community Grantmaking Services, where our flexible approach is designed to meet the unique needs of philanthropic and government investors.  We provide revolving loan fund debt service depending on availability, manage scholarship programs, and administer unrestricted awards.
