Comprehensive Agreement Changes 2021

  • The Project is expected to exhibit conduct that reflects Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion during project implementation, at project activities, and at all other Project-sponsored and participative events. All Project Leaders are also required to attend and complete annual diversity awareness training to enhance their knowledge to fulfill this responsibility. The Project agrees to follow the attached Policies related to anti-discrimination and anti-harrassment.
    1. Justice is dismantling barriers to resources and opportunities in society so that all individuals and communities can live a full and dignified life.
    2. Equity is allocating resources to ensure everyone has access to the same opportunities. Equity recognizes that advantages and barriers—the ‘isms’—exist.
    3. Diversity is all the differences between us based on which we experience advantages or encounter barriers to opportunities. Diversity isn’t just about racial differences.
    4. Inclusion is fostering a sense of belonging by centering, valuing, and amplifying the voices, perspectives and styles of those who experience more barriers based on their identities.
  • New Sun Rising will not be responsible for any projects that do not follow any health and safety directives from New Sun Rising, Local, State, or Federal Directives. Event participants and agents must wear masks for the entire duration of mandate. Projects that do not follow directives or guidelines immediately cancel their membership and will not be represented by New Sun Rising or will no longer be covered under New Sun Rising Liability Insurances.
