DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, June 29\, join us for a Deviant Dialogue with Positive Deviant Martin Timoney. \nMartin leads Rickter Meta Performance (rickterscale.world) and will discuss his work helping individuals get from where they are now to where they want to be in terms of well-being\, by unlocking the power of consciousness and the power of measurement. In addition Martin is a lecturer and facilitator at West College in Glasgow\, where he teaches communication and runs boot camps for individuals who are formerly incarcerated\, gang members\, in recovery\, victims of domestic violence\, etc. \nGrowing up in a low-status neighborhood\, Martin’s own story is one of overcoming mental and emotional challenges and low expectations. His formal education\, lived experience and 17 years as a Rickter Scale Method practitioner have informed his understanding that the first step to changing one’s circumstances is changing how one feels about one’s circumstances. \nPositive Deviants for Community Transformation is committed to building a collective of practitioners—a network of support and inspiration—through ongoing national conversations and retreats at the intersection of community transformation and creative expression.
