The Hub is a mixed-use community gathering, office, and event venue.
Envisioned as a welcoming space to get informed and inspired, the 10,000 square foot former social hall produces regular cultural events and offers heritage-inspired Italian food from Sprezzatura. Featuring sustainable reclaimed materials and solar energy production, the Hub provides a unique spot to work, socialize, take in a show, eat delicious food, or rent.
Located just across the 40th Street Bridge from Lawrenceville and minutes from the Northside, the Hub is not only in Millvale but serves as home to multiple organizations helping to realize the community’s Ecodistrict goals around energy and food, including 412 Food Rescue.

New Sun Rising has partnered with the Community College of Allegheny County and Triboro Ecodistrict to offer a solar installer certification training program. Participation stipends are available for the 40 hour class.
As of December 1st, we have received first floor occupancy and can’t wait to welcome you at one of our re-opening events! While the Hub has been closed since January 30, 2023 due to a significant electrical fire in our basement, we have taken the opportunity to make many improvements. Come through and see what we’ve done with the place. We’re still accepting donations to help us fully get back on our feet.
