Photo (c) Martha Rial Photographer Martha Rial’s multimedia photography project and traveling photography exhibit, tentatively titled “The Plight of Uganda’s Children,” is a in collaboration with University of Pittsburgh’s Ford Institute for Human Security and Bright Kids Village Uganda, a nonprofit children’s home in Entebbe founded in 2000 to rescue children who are orphaned or otherwise vulnerable due to Uganda’s civil war, HIV/AIDs and abandonment, and extreme poverty.
