NSR + RiverWise Announce Job Opportunities in Environmental Justice

Do you have a deep understanding of environmental justice and a commitment to community-led change?

New Sun Rising and RiverWise invite you to apply to join a newly established team supporting the implementation of the Justice 40 Opportunity Navigator. We are now accepting applications for shared positions including an Environmental Justice Coordinator, an Environmental Justice Project Manager, and Environmental Justice Grant Manager(s). 

These three positions will work collaboratively to help communities unlock the opportunities introduced by the Justice 40 Initiative. They will also coordinate efforts to support both existing and future environmental justice projects across New Sun Rising and RiverWise’s multi-county network of partners. 

Candidates should be focused on turning possibility into actionable strategy. They will be informed by a team of Environmental Justice Genius Advisors, which consists of representatives from frontline environmental justice communities who meet regularly to guide program design, participation criteria, and provide technical assistance to project leaders.
